An electro awakening at the Quinconces with the Electronik Brunch

The season opens in grand style on May 23rd and 24th, 2026, in the Place des Quinconces, in the heart of Bordeaux. Brunch Electronik is a concept born in Barcelona in 2014, brought to France by electronic music enthusiasts looking to break the mold of traditional nightlife. Its key difference lies in its " Daytime " format: dancing takes place from 1 pm to 10 pm. It's an inclusive event, welcoming both hardcore clubbers and families thanks to its " Petit Brunch " area.

The lineup for this 2026 edition is particularly anticipated with the arrival of Amelie Lens, the iconic Eric Prydz and the French prodigy Kungs.

The rootsy spirit of Plan B at Sun Ska in the Médoc

Immediately after, from May 29th to 31st, 2026, reggae takes over the Médoc region. Sun Ska (formerly Reggae Sun Ska) is a true Gironde institution, created in 1998 by Fred Lachaize. Originally a small local festival, it has become the largest reggae gathering in France. Its strength lies in its ability to adapt, as evidenced by this "Plan B" format in Cissac-Médoc, a more intimate and nature -oriented event that prioritizes conviviality and environmental commitment in the heart of the vineyards.

The poster showcases authentic vibes with Nèg' Marrons, Taïro and the legendary The Abyssinians.

June marks a highlight with the 11th edition of the ODP Talence Festival, from June 11th to 14th, 2026. It's an event where celebration meets civic engagement in a rare intergenerational atmosphere.

The program this year 2026 includes Louane, Jean-Louis Aubert, Christophe Maé and Ben Mazué.

The funfair madness of Madame Loyal in Bordeaux Lac

On June 12th and 13th, 2026, the Bordeaux Lac Exhibition Center will host the wacky world of Madame Loyal. This festival, which originated in Paris before successfully expanding to Bordeaux, reinvents the funfair. One thing is for sure, from 6 pm to 5 am, you won't be bored!

This year, the Bordeaux lineup brings together Bob Sinclar, Kavinsky, NTO, Feder and Joachim Pastor.

Unlike traveling festivals, Arcachon focuses on a premium experience where sound quality and audience comfort are paramount.

Festivals near Bordeaux: Garorock and the Francofolies

To round off this summer, two events outside the department are worth the trip.

  • The Garorock festival in Marmande celebrates its 30th edition from June 26th to 28th, 2026. Created in 1997 by Ludovic Larbodie, what began as a small punk-rock festival has become a major event, attracting over 160,000 people. Its trademark? A "camping" atmosphere and a lineup that blends rap, rock, and electronic music, featuring artists like Gims, Major Lazer, PLK, and Bigflo & Oli. Located an hour from Bordeaux, it's a must-see in the Lot-et-Garonne region.
  • The Francofolies de La Rochelle festival celebrates music from July 10th to 14th, 2026. Founded in 1985 by Jean-Louis Foulquier, this festival is a temple of the French-language music scene. Its unique setting on the Old Port and its commitment to emerging artists (the Chantier des Francos) make it a cultural pillar. During this edition, you can enjoy performances by Orelsan, Aya Nakamura, and Helena. Whether by car or train, you won't be disappointed.

In 2026, the Gironde region and its surroundings will be transformed into a vast music stage. Each festival promises unforgettable memories under the Southwest sun.
